The price of school dinners is set by Portsmouth City Council and our caterers Caterlink. The cost of school dinners are £2.86 per day. All dinners must be paid for on the day or in advance via the online SCO pay system.
Children in Key Stage 1 already get free school meals – Universal Infant Free School Meals (UISFM). For children in Year 3 upwards you will need to apply for free school meals if you haven’t already. If you are not sure it’s worth applying as for every free school meal child the school gets an additional £1,320 to spend on the children themselves. If you know your child is going to be late to school, please inform the office of their lunch choice before 9.15am otherwise you will need to provide a packed lunch.
If your child has any special dietary needs (e.g. No dairy, no soya) then please contact the office and we can arrange with Caterlink a menu catered to your child’s needs.
